Past Campaigns
We believe that it is crucial to engage with and influence policy makers and processes to bring about change. In line with that, we have been involved in many financial justice campaigns over the years. We have applied tactics such as lobbying parliamentarians, making submissions to public consultations on issues of relevance, and engaging directly with parliamentarians. We've campaigned against water privatisation by the IMF / WB in Gibe Dam, Ethiopia; to support communities fighting austerity measures; to fight for corporations like Apple to pay their fair share of tax; and Anglo Not Our Debt which emerged in the fallout of the 2008/9/10 sovereign debt crisis.
