Talks #1 & #2: Ireland and the global market -- how financial markets create global inequality
25 January 2016
How do international financial markets drive economic inequality? What are the key global justice issues caused by financial markets? How do we find ways to deconstruct economic jargon and speak to our TDs about these issues?
Join DDCI and our guest speakers Conor McCabe and Professor Terrence McDonough (NUIG) to explore these questions. The event will include presentations from both speakers, questions and answers, and a session on how to speak to your TDs about financial justice issues.
These talks are part of a series of financial justice events DDCI is hosting around Ireland in Spring 2016.
This event will take place at two locations during February:
Galway
Monday 15th February, 6.30pm - 9pm, in the Galway Peoples' Resource Centre, Saint Clare's Walk, Merchants Road, Galway.
Dublin
Thursday 25th February, 6.30pm - 9pm, in Unite the Union, 55-56 Middle Abbey St, Dublin 1.
