Place, Politics and Power - JC/SC/TY - Teachers' Resource Workshop
28 March 2024
Join Hilary from Financial Justice Ireland online 4.30-6pm on Wednesday April 17th for a fun and participatory workshop on our newest teaching resource, Place, Politics and Power - A Financial Justice Walking Tour of Ireland's International Financial Services Centre, Dublin.
This resource is a cross-curricular resource book for Junior and Senior post-primary students. It is a self-guided tour for post-primary teachers, containing detailed talking points for ten locations in the Irish Financial Services Centre, Dublin. This is the latest resource created by Financial Justice Ireland, undertaken with funding from Irish Aid’s WorldWise Global Schools, the national program of Global Citizenship Education (GCE) for post-primary schools in Ireland.
This online workshop is completely free to attend. We will ensure opportunities for discussion and peer learning amongst teachers in the spirit of mutual continued professional development for all participants. It’s a great opportunity to generate additional CPD points before the end of the academic term. We also supply attendees with formal certificates of attendance that can be used to fulfil their Croke Park hours.
We hope to see you there!
