Leaving Cert. Politics & Society 'From Grassroots to Government' Online Teacher Training 30 March 2022
07 March 2022
Join us from 6.30 to 8 pm on Wednesday 30 March 2022 for this online teaching workshop aimed at Leaving Certificate pupils, as we introduce our teaching resource, 'From Grassroots to Government: Embedding Financial Justice in the Politics and Society curriculum'.
This resource uses global citizenship and active learning methodologies to encourage discussion and debate, and support students in considering subject topics from a range of perspectives, with a particular focus on aspects of the curriculum that relate to global financial justice.
Both the resource and its activities make direct links to the Leaving Certificate Politics and Society curriculum, though many of the activities are relevant to other curriculum-led modules, such as Geography, CSPE, and Global Citizenship.
On completion of the session, you can request a hard copy of the workshop resources, which will be sent by post. You can also request a certificate (of attendance) that can be used towards teacher Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
Register here to join us in this online teacher training session on, 'From Grassroots to Government: Embedding Financial Justice in the Politics and Society curriculum', using Global Citizenship.
Please Note: This resource was proudly created with funding from WorldWise Global Schools (WWGS), Irish Aid's strategic partner for Global Citizenship Education at post-primary. This resource, nor the workshop reflects the views of WWGS or Irish Aid.
