Financial Justice Ireland seeks Treasurer for Board of Directors

We are currently seeking someone with expertise in accounting and finance as well as an interest in local and global economic justice issues to join our Board of Directors as Treasurer. 

Structure:

The Board of Directors is currently made up of 7 members. Representation on the board includes international development and justice focused NGOs, faith based international development workers, educational institutions and trade unions.

The Treasurer role is an oversight role as payroll, budgets, funding reports etc. are prepared internally.

The board usually meets 6 times per year. Meetings take place at our office in Dublin 2. For those based outside Dublin, remote attendance is also possible.

The commitment involves:

• attending board meetings 
• support with reviewing financial accounts, funding proposals, budgets and reports
• support the work of the organisation where possible through attending events, bringing in new members, supporting income generation etc.
